While 4X is designed to add gloss, it is generally safe on high-quality satin or matte wraps. However, we always recommend testing on a small, inconspicuous area first as it will add a slight sheen.

For the best possible bond and longest-lasting results, we recommend applying 4X to a decontaminated surface. A clean, washed, and dried car is sufficient, but claying will always improve performance.
